A primary feature change that signifies the ’60 model year is the 2.5” body and the adoption of the V-style Bigsby vibrato.  Many examples of this model year have been found with highly figured (a.k.a. flamed) maple tops, backs and sides.  The 60’ 6120 is essentially a 2.5” thick version of the 59’.
